Thomas Rhett has been working non-stop on his next album, and he cannot wait to start sharing it with his fans. “I remember on my second record, man, we didn’t make a new record for like two years or something like that,” says Thomas. “But I just think it’s the way that a lot of fans are consuming music today. When my [Life Changes] album came out that was the first time that we’d ever gone out on the road after an album and got to play album cuts that people knew all the words to.”
Thomas has been teasing fans on social media with pictures of him the studio. He says, “I’ve been doing nothing but writing my face off since the last album came out. But it is my goal to just keep putting more music out there.” In fact, Thomas recently confessed that he’s written over 150 songs to choose from for his next album.
“Sixteen,” which is on the verge of becoming Thomas’ next #1 single, is the last song he will release off his Life Changes album before he puts out new music in 2019.
