(AUDIO) THOMAS RHETT IS READY TO CROSS A HUGE ITEM OFF HIS CAREER BUCKET LIST

current single: “AFTER ALL THE BARS ARE CLOSED

This summer, Thomas Rhett will cross a huge milestone off his career bucket list when he plays his first-ever stadium show at Boston’s Fenway Park, on July 19th. Thomas once shared with us that as his career has grown, he’s always been a little nervous about taking the next big step, whether it’s going from clubs to small theaters, or amphitheaters to arenas, and wondering if he was ready to take those next big steps. Fortunately, Thomas has always had a supportive team around him to assure him when it was time to go to the next level, but we had to wonder how he felt when they came to him and told him he was ready to headline a stadium.

“I kinda feel like at some point in your career, you just have to sort of just go for it. I’ve been thinking about doing a baseball stadium since 2019. And I think we even had three or four on hold for 2020. And then, you know, how that went. And then we just kind of kept going, well, maybe 2021 is not the year. Well, maybe 2022 is not the year. Maybe 23 is not the year. And then finally, I think we just sat down and we were just like, if we’re ever gonna try it, we should try it now. I’ve definitely got a couple more bucket list things on my career sheet, but that is definitely at the tip top of bucket list items for me to accomplish before I am old and gone one day.”
