Thomas Rhett wrote his latest single, “Star of the Show,” about his wife Lauren, shortly after they were married, and he loves that the song is even more relevant to their lives now.  “I think it’s just amazing,” says Thomas, “how that song kind of lines up to our life today, just because I may be the singer-songwriter, kind of the guy on the stage in the spotlight, but she is one of those people that continues to drive my career forward, and one of those people that my fans just to continue to love.”

Not only does Thomas love the impact Lauren has on him and his career, but he says, “A lot of girls look up to her and it’s just been amazing to watch Lauren kind of be in this role and use her platform for amazing things and I just couldn’t be more excited to be where we’re at in our career right now.”

Thomas and Lauren will have some time off over the holidays to celebrate their amazing year before he kicks off his Home Team Tour in February.  Plus, Thomas will use some of his off time to work on his next studio album, which he’ll release in 2017.
