(AUDIO) THOMAS RHETT SHARES FAMILY VACATION FOR LATEST VIDEO

If Thomas Rhett’s latest video for “Vacation” looks like it could be footage from a real family vacation, that’s because that’s exactly what it is.  Thomas says, “It didn’t even feel like making a music video honestly. We were literally just getting in the ocean and doing things that probably could’ve hurt us really bad. And someone happened to capture it on an iPhone and a GoPro.”

It’s the second time Thomas and his wife Lauren have opened up their personal vacation for one of Thomas’ videos.  “Die A Happy Man” was also filmed on one of the couple’s vacations in Hawaii.  Thomas says, “I’m so glad that we got to capture what Hawaii means to us. You know, that’s kinda been our spot since our honeymoon. So to be able to have two music videos in a row capture our favorite place on the earth, that’s pretty cool.”

During the “Vacation” video, one of the activities the cameras captured Thomas and Lauren doing was skydiving.  Thomas says, “I probably would not have sky dived if it was not for that video, but my wife and friends convinced me to get on the plane. And you could see my shear fear when I’m up in that plane.”  Although now, he says he’s glad he did it.
