Sheryl Crow is excited to finally release her collaborations album, Threads, in less than two weeks, on August 30th. It’s been in the making for a long time. In fact, Sheryl says, “It’s been a project sort of, of love for over three and half years, if you can imagine that. Not constant work but three and a half years just in fits and starts of calling in some friends to collaborate with me.”
And the collaborators Sheryl was able to work with on this album are a virtual who’s who in the music world. “We’ve got Stevie Nicks, and Neil Young is on it, and Sting and Eric Clapton and Keith Richards, and Maren Morris is on it, and Brandi Carlisle,” Sheryl says matter-of-factly. In total, there are 24 artists Sheryl collaborates with on Threads.
The first single Sheryl released off the album is “Prove You Wrong,” featuring Maren Morris and Stevie Nicks. She also released another advanced track, which is available now, called “Tell Me When It’s Over,” featuring Chris Stapleton. Again, Threads, the full album, will be available on August 30th.
