The deluxe version of Tim McGraw’s latest album, Sundown Heaven Town, contains a total of 18 songs and Tim says there are so many songs because he couldn’t pick any to eliminate. “The songs are just so good that I couldn’t think of losing any of ‘em. I couldn’t think of letting any of ‘em go and not put them on the record. I think from one to 18 you’re gonna hear a lot of variety of different kinds of songs; a lotta different themes, a lotta different sounds, and I think that every song stands on its own as a really special song.”
Tim just released his latest single from Sundown Heaven Town, a duet with his cousin Catherine Dunn, called “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools.”

“I think at the end of the day it’s all about songs, and that’s another reason why there’s eighteen, from me. The songs are just so good that I couldn’t think of losing any of ‘em. I couldn’t think of letting any of ‘em go and not put them on the record.
