Tim McGraw just announced his new summer tour, The Shotgun Rider ’15 Tour, which will kick off this summer. One thing Tim loves about the crowds at his concert is the wide age range of people he sees when he looks out in the crowd. “I see seven, eight-year-old little girls wearin’ my t-shirts and holdin’ up signs and pictures and they want autographs and things like that, and they’re singin’ the words to the songs that I recorded years, and years, and years ago in my career, so obviously they got that from their mothers or their fathers,” says Tim. “And then you see sixty-five year-old couples out there who were in their forties when I started makin’ records.”
Tim, who just released his brand new single, “Diamond Rings & Old Barstools,” thinks it’s great to see such a wide age span, and he’s especially happy to see the younger fans because he says, “I think that’s good, not only for me, but it’s good for Country Music in a lotta ways.”
The Shotgun Rider ’15 Tour will kick off in June with Billy Currington and Chase Bryant opening for Tim. You can get more details about the show as they become available on TimMcGraw.com.

Tim McGraw – seeing in live crowds :54
“I see a lotta youth, which is good. It’s funny because for as long as I’ve been doing this I see a huge generational swing all the way across with the music that we do. I see seven, eight-year-old little girls wearin’ my t-shirts and holdin’ up signs and pictures and they want autographs and things like that, and they’re singin’ the words to the songs that I recorded years, and years, and years ago in my career, so obviously they got that from their mothers or their fathers. And then you see sixty-five year-old couples out there who were in their forties when I started makin’ records. So, there’s three generations of people that are listenin’ to the music that we’ve made and it’s really cool to look out there and think that, alright, there’s eighteen-year-olds, seven-year-olds, twenty-something year-olds, thirty-something year-olds, forty-something year-olds, sixty-something year-olds that are coming to my concert, and I think that’s good, not only for me, but it’s good for Country Music in a lotta ways.”
