CURRENT SINGLE – “7500 OBO”
Being from Start, Louisiana, Tim McGraw has been a life-long LSU Tigers football fan, but in the past few years he’s started rooting for another college team as well, which has given some people a fun opportunity to give him grief. During football season, Tim says, “On Saturdays I look forward to all the LSU games. I’m a huge LSU Tigers fan, and I’m a Stanford fan too, because my daughter went to Stanford.”
As a die-hard SEC conference fan, Tim hated the Pac-12 conference, which Stanford is a part of, and he says, “My uncle is a Pac-12 guy because he’s from Napa Valley. So, as soon as my daughter went to Stanford I sorta started liking the Pac-12, so he was giving me a lot of guff about that.”
Truth be told, Tim loves football of any kind – NFL, college and even high school, and while having a team to root for makes the game more interesting, Tim would watch just about any game that is on, no matter who’s playing.
