Tim McGraw just released his new single, “Humble and Kind,” which carries a message about life he hopes he has passed onto his three daughters. When it comes to his own life lessons, Tim says, “I’ve learned a lot of lessons the hard way.”
One of the biggest life lessons Tim has learned and continues to learn is to trust, but he says, “That’s something everybody always works on I think, is to trust somebody, to trust other people and to trust yourself. I think that’s probably the biggest hurdle that anybody has to jump, is to learn to trust themselves. I’m still workin’ on that, but I had a few pretty hard lessons in it.”
“Humble and Kind” is the follow up to Tim’s top ten single, “Top of the World,” off his latest album, Damn Country Music.

- McGraw also tweeted a picture of two stone statues in his backyard that had accumulated several inches of snow on them last week in Nashville after a rather large snow storm. McGraw said in the caption, “Hangin out in the back yard.” Tim returned to Twitter later to share a picture his daughter Audrey took of their three dogs, Sicily, Palio and Stromboli, bounding through the fresh snow.
