CURRENT SINGLE – “Undivided” w/ Tyler Hubbard
Tim McGraw has raised three girls, who are all now young women living away from home, so he definitely knows a thing or two when it comes to parenting. When we asked Tim if he had any advice for younger or newer parents, he said, “For dads, I would say let mom lead the way.”
Aside from that, Tim assures new parents that if they feel like they’re getting it wrong, they probably are, because all parents do while they’re learning to get it right. He says, “Parenting in general, I think as anybody that’s a parent knows, boy, you probably get 65% of everything wrong. And it’s just a matter of makin’ mistakes and tryin’ to do better the next day, and kind of following your kids heartbeat, I guess is the best way to say it.”
Considering he (and his wife Faith Hill) have raised three kind, ambitious, well-rounded daughters, we’d say Tim is probably a good dad to take advice from about parenting.
