(AUDIO) TIM McGRAW REMINISCES ABOUT HIS HIGH SCHOOL RIDE

Tim McGraw’s latest single, “How I’ll Always Be,” has a reminiscent feel to it, One recurring thing in a lot of Tim’s greatest memories are cars.  A lot of people have heard about the 1976 red Jeep that played a significant role in Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s courtship.  It was a vehicle they borrowed and went out on several dates in while they were on their first tour together.  It turns out there’s another vehicle that holds a lot of great memories for Tim.  He says, When I was in high school I had a 70 Ford and I used to run that thing ragged. I put the stereo in myself and it sounded really good and I used to tune it to Aldo Nova’s Fantasy- it’s what I used to tune my stereo to in that old 70 Ford.”

Years after they were married, Faith actually tracked down the red Jeep she and Tim rode around and fell in love in and had it restored as a gift for Tim.  No word on if he knows whatever happened to that 1970 Ford.
