(AUDIO) Tim McGraw Says You Can Definitely Hear 70’s Influence In All His Music

If you were to sit down and dissect any of Tim McGraw’s songs, including his latest song, “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools,” chances are you would be able to pick out his biggest musical influence. Tim says, “I grew up in the 70’s and I’m a child of the 70’s. That kinda music is really what made me fall in love with music. So, you could probably pick apart any song that I’ve ever done and find some 70’s in it.”

Tim says the Eagles were a huge influence on him, and if he had to describe his own musical style, he would say, “It’s like George Strait, Merle Haggard and the Eagles all meshed together.”
