(AUDIO) Tim McGraw Was Hooked On Music When He Learned To Play Guitar

Tim McGraw first got on a stage to play music when he was in college. He says, “My first year of college, I took my high school ring and pawned it and bought a guitar.”

Tim used that guitar to teach himself how to play. He says, “I learned how to play 50 songs over that summer and started playing for tips at the end of that summer, and I was hooked from then on and I knew that’s what I wanted to do.”

Tim insists he’s still not a great guitar player, but he gets by. He just released his latest single, “Humble and Kind,” which is perhaps one of the most poignant songs he’s released in years.
