Tim McGraw has always said he was heavily influenced by the music he grew up listening to in the 70’s. When he thinks back to the albums he wore out he says, “Probably my favorite, I remember playing Alabama, of course I played over and over and over again.”
Although he can’t remember the name of the album Tim says, “I had an Elvis record that I played, it had my favorite Elvis song … ‘If I Can Dream’ on there. I played it over and over, it’s my favorite Elvis song. But, Rush Moving Pictures was probably an album that I just completely wore out, and of course all the Journey records and all that stuff.”
Chances are there are plenty of people who will look back years from now and remember wearing out Tim McGraw’s albums, like his latest, Sundown Heaven Town, featuring his current single, “Shotgun Rider.”
