For Rascal Flatts, home is definitely where the heart is, which makes it especially hard these days to leave their families behind to go on tour. According to Jay DeMarcus, “We obviously all have families now and kids and everything. So, it makes it a little more difficult, but gosh, it’s what we do.”
As hard as it is to leave home to tour, Jay admits, “I don’t know that we’d know how to do anything else or would love anything else as much as we do so it’s just kind of a necessary evil. It’s one of those things that also makes it worth it when you get out there in front of those fans every night and you see how your music has affected their lives.”
Rascal Flatts just announced their Summer Playlist Tour, which will include a Lee Brice, Billy Currington, Jordan Davis, Jimmie Allen, Morgan Evans and LOCASH rotating as their opening acts in various combinations.
