Last year, when Trent Harmon wasn’t sure which direction his music career was going in, he admits things got a little quiet, in terms of people reaching out to him and calling him. But once he knew he was going to release his latest single, “You Got ‘Em All,” he says, “I had a few folks that I haven’t heard from in a while that called me and said, ‘Man I hear you’re about to have a new song on the radio.’ And it just reminded me that you don’t have a whole lot … like if you can count your friends on one hand, that’s a lot. I would say by the time you’re 25 you might not have but five friends, if you’re lucky.”
Rather than being bitter about any fair-weather fans that were showing back up in his life, Trent says, it’s when those people show up that you become even more aware of and thankful for your true friends. “It’s just good to be reminded that you have those blessings in your life,” says Trent.
