(AUDIO) TRENT HARMON FEELS THE SADNESS OF ‘YOU GOT ‘EM ALL’ EVERY TIME HE SINGS IT

Trent Harmon has sung his latest single, “You Got ‘Em All,” so many times, that you might think he wouldn’t be affected by the emotion of the song at this point when he sings it, but Trent says the exact opposite is true.  “The music, even before the lyric, it’s those first eight notes, just dun, dun, dun,” explains Trent.  “When I hear that, it takes even me back, and I’ve probably heard the song more than anybody. That is really the true measuring stick of, can a song get you there. And when I hear those eight notes I feel solitude, like I feel lonesome and blue. It takes me right there.  And then on top of that, then you have the lyric.”

“You Got ‘Em All” is the title track from Trent’s debut album, which is available now.
