Trent Harmon is close to both his parents, and with Father’s Day coming up this Sunday, when he thinks about what traits he has inherited from his dad, he says, “I get my sense of humor from my dad. He’s really dry. His mother is very dry, my grandma. And it’s actually funny because they’ll sit back and kind of snicker whenever they hear me tell certain stories or jokes because I probably stole parts of it straight from them, whether I know it or not. And they say that the funniest things are to watch me say things and emulate stories, and my grandma will say, ‘I literally thought that that was your dad if I had turned my back. The way you told that joke it sounded just like your dad.”
While Trent’s latest single, “You Got ‘Em All,” is a real heartbreaker, if you ever spend time around Trent, you’ll realize very quickly that he is a funny guy and he did indeed inherit his dad’s dry sense of humor.
