Trent Harmon’s career was launched when he was crowned the champion of season 15 of American Idol. Because it was all fan voted, Trent believes his career belongs as much to his fans as it does to him. “Yeah, especially coming from the background as far as like the TV aspect. I had somebody literally last night saw me at Starbucks and then said, ‘Hey I voted for you. We’re gonna take your next song to the top.’”
Trent has heard of other American Idols who are kind of bothered when the fans still talk about their days on the show instead of allowing them to be known as just an artist in their own right, but Trent says, “I don’t mind. I mean, because they’ve stayed with me through this last 15 months, and I didn’t even have any songs on the radio.”
Now that Trent is back with his new single, “You Got ‘Em All,” his fans are as loyal as ever, supporting this next chapter in his career.

We’re gonna take your next song to the top.’ And some folks that come from the show that bothers … you know they say, ‘Man, they still remind me that they voted for me.’ I don’t mind. I mean, because they’ve stayed with me through this last 15 months, and I didn’t even have any songs on the radio.”
