When Tucker Beathard decided to fully commit his life to making music, it was one day before he was supposed to report to Middle Tennessee State University on a baseball scholarship. Calling the coach and breaking the news to him was not easy, but Tucker says, “He took it really well. That was such a scary and definitely the toughest decision in my life. You could hear he was really disappointed but at same time he can’t argue with somebody following their heart and he respected that and understood that. So it’s all good. No hard feelings.”
Fortunately, Tucker can be confident that he made the right decision, with a top five hit under his belt, his latest single, “Momma and Jesus” climbing the charts and a gig opening up for Brantley Gilbert’s The Devil Don’t Sleep Tour about to launch on February 2nd.
