College football just kicked off this weekend, and Tucker Beathard will definitely be watching every Saturday since his brother, CJ Beathard, is the star quarterback for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Tucker played football his whole life when he was growing up, so he definitely plays armchair quarterback for his brother. He says, “I’ve come from a pretty big football family, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about it. And obviously as a brother, I’m gonna be, besides himself, probably his toughest critic. But I understand that it’s different in the moment and whatever, but I watch and analyze everything he does for sure.”
Tucker ultimately opted to pursue music instead of sports, which seems to be paying off, with his debut single, “Rock On,” in the top ten and climbing, although there’s no word on whether CJ Beathard returns the favor and plays music critic for Tucker.

Tucker Beathard – armchair quarterback :24
“(laughs) Yeah, no doubt about that, cause I’ve played football my whole life too. So, I’ve come from a pretty big football family, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about it.
