“Momma and Jesus” singer Tucker Beathard will tell you that he’s not a huge social media fan. He says, “Never have been. That’s just how I am but it’s such a good promotion tool and it’s something that you’ve got to use.”
The challenge for Tucker is to be present on social media in a way that is authentic to who he is. He says, “I never want to be fake about nothing. So we got a good team to kind of figure out cool ways or different ways, you know, to where you kind of let a song or a picture or something kind of do more of the talkin’ instead of having to write out some long caption or let everybody know what you’re doing every second of the day or anything like that. We use it in our own way that I feel comfortable with and still a useful tool you know.”

Tucker Beathard – social media :37
“Yeah, that’s kind of always trying to figure that out like in a sense of I’ve never been a huge social media fan. Never have been. That’s just how I am but it’s such a good promotion tool and it’s something that you’ve got to use. So I never want to be fake about nothing. So we got a good team to kind of figure out cool ways or different ways, you know, to where you kind of let a song or a picture or something kind of do more of the talkin’ instead of having to write out some long caption or let everybody know what you’re doing every second of the day or anything like that.
