When it comes to shopping for Christmas presents, Tucker Beathard would like to be the thoughtful gift giver who really goes out and finds the perfect present for everybody on his list.  He says, “I like to put thought in it and it feels good to give like a gift that you think actually means something to a family member or whatever, but, yeah, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cram in a lot of gift shopping for Christmas last second.”

Despite his best intentions, Tucker says, “I usually do it all on Christmas Eve and unfortunately, recently I’ve been kind of falling back on the whole just get ‘em a gift card to somewhere idea. But I do like the idea of giving something that’s like meaningful and you connect with them with, but I’d be lying if I said I was that great at it now.”

Perhaps Tucker’s family will cut him a little bit of slack in the thoughtfulness department, since he has been on the road pretty much non-stop in 2016.  He just wrapped up a short European run this weekend and he’s been busy promoting his brand new single, “Momma and Jesus.”
