(AUDIO) TUCKER BEATHARD WOULD LOVE TO JAM WITH BLINK 182’S TOM DeLONGE

Tucker Beathard grew up with a lot of rock music influences in his life, and he says, “Honestly, growing up my favorite band and the whole reason I kinda got into guitar and wanting to sing was Blink-182, believe it or not. Their guitar player, Tom DeLonge, a lot of people would say, you know, he’s not that great. But at the same time, he’s coming up with these licks that he’s creating art. I’ve always respected that and taken that approach. So he’s kind of been my musical hero of all times.”

Before he started playing guitar, Tucker played drums and he says, “Travis Barker, their drummer, was a huge influence on me when I was a drummer too,” but if given the chance to jam with one guy, he says, “I think Tom DeLonge from Blink-182 would be my answer.”

Tucker just released his debut EP, Fight Like Hell, featuring his debut hit song, “Rock On.”
