When Tucker Beathard decided to start a fan club, he knew just what to call it – The Mother Tuckers.  He explains, “That was a name that I wanted my band to be when I was like 10. I was like we could call them the Mother Tuckers, so that’s what we went with. I don’t know, I dig it.”

One person who probably doesn’t love the name but was one of the first to sign up for Tucker’s fan club is his mom.  He says, “She hated the idea when I was 10 and naming a band that and still didn’t even like the fan club being that, but stuck with it. She signed up and she’s a Mother Tucker, as well.”

Tucker just celebrated his first top five hit with his debut song, “Rock On,” and now he’s chosen “Momma and Jesus” as his follow up single, off his debut EP, Fight Like Hell.
