Tyler Rich once said if he’s ever late for something, it’s probably because he stopped to pet a dog, and that’s something he inherited from his mom. “I one hundred percent gained my characteristic of my crazy love for animals from my mom,” says Tyler. “Since I was a little kid, she’s always taught me to treat every single animal the same way that I would the dogs in our house. And I’ve just always had the same mentality that all animals are the same and I treat ‘em all the same and I just love ‘em all.”
Tyler admits there is one species that is ‘animal non-grata,’ as far as he’s concerned. He says, “Every animal’s family to me … except for snakes.”
You can catch Tyler out on the road all summer long promoting his brand new single, “Leave Her Wild.” Check tylerrichmusic.com to find out where he’ll be performing.
