CURRENT SINGLE – “Better Than You’re Used To”
Tyler Rich’s latest single, “Better Than You’re Used To,” was essentially chosen by the fans, who made a clip of him and his wife, Sabina, singing a karaoke version of the song on a cross-country road trip go viral. “Over the holidays,” says Tyler, “I was driving 45 hours across the country with my two dogs and my wife, from California up to Massachusetts for the holidays. I wanted to tease some music. I had all the time in the world and so, ‘Better Than You’re Used To’ was just a little car karaoke session that we posted online and it blew up.”
Tyler was shocked when in a matter of days, “Better Than You’re Used To” racked up “Millions and millions of views, hundreds of thousands of likes (and) thousands of shares.”
That led to the song being released to radio, and for Tyler, the most rewarding thing has been the messages he’s been receiving from people in response to the song. “I get messages every single day, and it’s not even ‘I love this song.’” Explains Tyler. “It’s ‘Thank you for this song. This song reminded me of what I deserve in my relationship. This song reminded me about self-love.’” And Tyler says, “That is the ultimate goal of the song is, love yourself first and then find somebody that loves you even better than that.”

I had all the time in the world and so, ‘Better Than You’re Used To’ was just a little car karaoke session that we posted online and it blew up. Millions and millions of views, hundreds of thousands of likes, thousands of shares, and within two or three weeks we released the song. And just the uproar has been absolutely insane. I get messages every single day, and it’s not even ‘I love this song.’ It’s ‘Thank you for this song. This song reminded me of what I deserve in my relationship. This song reminded me about self-love.’ And that is the ultimate goal of the song is, love yourself first and then find somebody that loves you even better than that.”
