Tyler Rich is originally from Northern California, and it’s where he spent a lot of time cutting his teeth in music before he decided to make the move to Nashville to pursue his dream.  Tyler vividly remembers the night one of his favorite rock bands from San Diego put on a performance that convinced him it was time to make the move.

“One of my favorite bands is Augustana, and I remember seeing them in San Francisco, I believe it was at The Great American Music Hall.  They were already one of my favorite bands. It was only about, probably 60% capacity or so, 70%. It was crowded but you had your own space, and it was just such a beautiful intimate performance. And everybody in the room felt like we were on stage singing with the band that night. And that was one of my biggest inspirational nights of saying, I just need to get out of Northern California and I need to do this.”
