CURRENT SINGLE – “Better Than You’re Used To”
The pandemic has been stressful for everybody, including Tyler Rich, who found a couple of effective ways to deal with any stress and anxiety he’s been feeling over the last year and a half. First, he says, “Sabina meditates a lot, so I’ve been meditating with her. It really does help, it’s nice.”
When Tyler isn’t sitting still with his thoughts, he says, “I’ve been running a lot since quarantine. I have a quarantine run club with a bunch of friends from all different states and we were running, you know, anywhere from like 50 to 100 miles a month.”
While some people might not find that relaxing, Tyler says, “It really is beautiful and it does actually become euphoric to run a lot. I never believed it until I started doing it, just going out and being alone with your music.”
Tyler has said in the past that he enjoys listening to rock music or hip hop, or things that will help drive him while he runs, but now he says, “Sometimes I’ll even listen to like meditation run music, which is not my normal, aggressive, get me pumped up stuff. It’s truly helped.”
Another thing that has helped Tyler is being able to get back out on the road and play live shows. He has a pretty healthy slate of shows scheduled this year through early December. See his full tour schedule at tylerrich.com.
