(AUDIO) ZAC BROWN BAND LOVED DISCOVERING ITEMS FOR THEIR HALL OF FAME EXHIBIT

When the Zac Brown Band found out they would be getting their own exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, one of the cool things for all the guys was gathering objects to put on display.  Coy Bowles says, “I went back and went through all these boxes of stuff that over the years of tour, I would get home and just kinda throw these passes and weird set lists or things that I’ve gathered. Like one of the first times we played the Conan O’Brien Show, I tore the tag off the door that had the Zac Brown Band and the Conan logo and stuff like that.”

Coy says some of the things he found were kind of odd, but interesting, like a set list he found with Tim Tebow’s signature on it. But he says, “It’s really cool all the memories you have connected to all of that stuff. Like so it was actually kinda cool to look back but it was cool just knowing that this thing was going to happen and gathering up the stuff that we need to put in here. So just the getting prepared for it was actually a pretty cool experience, as well.”

The Zac Brown Band just wrapped up their Black Out the Sun Tour.  Their latest single, “Castaway,” has become their latest top 20 single, and their exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame will be open through June 2017.
