When a fan goes backstage to meet their favorite artist at a concert, it usually consists of a quick picture, an autograph and then back to their seats, but when the Zac Brown Band meets their fans, they want to make it a memorable experience. The band, whose latest single, “Beautiful Life,” has broken into the top ten, hosts “Eat and Greets,” where their chef cooks a gourmet meal, which the band sits down and shares with their fans. They don’t take pictures of sign autographs during the dinner, but Zac says, “That takes a tremendous amount of time and we don’t actually even get to talk to ‘em. So, we actually sit in it and visit with ‘em and it means a lot to me that we service our fans differently and are connected to ‘em, ‘cause we plan on doin’ what we’re doin’ for decades.”
Zac believes, “When you feed somebody a great meal they remember it, and when we get to sit and eat with our people and our fans it solidifies that and it’s just a reminder to them and ourselves that we’re no different than they are, even though we’re up on the stage and they’re out there.”
Zac Brown Band will have a chance to share some Eat and Greets with their fans on their upcoming tour dates, which you can see on ZacBrownBand.com.

Zac Brown Band – why Eat and Greet :37
Zac Brown – “You know, we wanna be known for doin’ things differently and when you feed somebody a great meal they remember it, and when we get to sit and eat with our people and our fans it solidifies that and it’s just a reminder to them and ourselves that we’re no different than they are, even though we’re up on the stage and they’re out there. But when you have to take a picture with ‘em and kick ‘em out of the tent the way that everybody else does, at first it was received as ‘we don’t get a picture and an autograph,’ but that takes a tremendous amount of time and we don’t actually even get to talk to ‘em. So, we actually sit in it and visit with ‘em and it means a lot to me that we service our fans differently and are connected to ‘em, ‘cause we plan on doin’ what we’re doin’ for decades.”
