Zac Brown Band is enjoying tremendous success these days, with multiple #1 songs to their credit, their brand new song, “Homegrown” currently climbing the charts and successful headlining gigs across the country, but it wasn’t always that way. Zac remembers the early days when he would pull double duty at his family’s restaurant in order to sing. He says, “We’d have a line cook that would call in sick and I’d be in there cookin’ until nine and sweatin’ and come out and throw my apron off and get on the stage and play.”
Even when he wasn’t splitting his time between the stage and the kitchen, he says, “I spent a lot a time bouncin’ around and stayin’ with lots of families that took me in and I really love all of it, but I never was discouraged from my goal.”
Zac Brown Band will release their new album, Jekyll + Hyde, featuring “Homegrown,” on April 28th.
