If you listen to Zac Brown Band’s music, you can hear there are a wide range of sounds and styles from rock to country to calypso and beyond. Zac says the band’s music is “Getting to share my experiences and all the different music that I’ve stumbled on and absorbed and all the guys in my band the same way, like really pulling the best of all our influences and kind of marrying them all together.”
While Zac Brown Band is a country band at heart, Zac says, “I just can appreciate all different kinds of people and all different kinds of things and places and I’ve been traveling constantly since I was seventeen and playing music and that’s just enriched my life so much ‘cause the road has been the greatest school I could have asked for.”
ZBB’s latest #1 single, “Beautiful Drug,” had a bit of an anthemic club feel to it, while their brand new single, “Castaway,” has more of a calypso/Jimmy Buffett feel to it.
