Zac Brown and his wife have five children, four girls, and their little boy, Alexander, who was born about 13 months ago. Zac says he can definitely tell a difference already between his girls and his boy. He says, “It’s funny to him when he slams things or throws things and you can definitely tell he’s all boy.”
Zac also says his little boy is not so little. “He’s also kind of a giant. He weighs more than my four-year-old. He’s a big kid. He was 11(lbs) 7(oz.) when he was born, my wife weighs a hundred pounds,” says Zac. But his sisters love their big little brother. Zac says, “The girls just like swallow him up, they love him, he’s awesome. He’s a little squishy giant and he’s happy and healthy and awesome.”
Zac is spending a lot of time on the road with his musical family, promoting their latest album, Jekyll + Hyde, and their current single, “Loving You Easy,” on tour, but he says, “My family is my greatest accomplishment I have… Family’s so fun. It’s awesome. They’re my best friends.”

Zac Brown Band – having a son :44
“My family is my greatest accomplishment I have. My son, he’s one now and he’s definitely different, even at that age than my girls were, and he’s also kind of a giant. He weighs more than my four-year-old. He’s a big kid. He was 11(lbs) 7(oz.) when he was born, my wife weighs a hundred pounds so…My great-grandfather was like 6’7” or 6’8” and so that’s his namesake and it’s definitely different. It’s funny to him when he slams things or throws things and you can definitely tell he’s all boy, but the girls just like swallow him up, they love him, he’s awesome. He’s a little squishy giant and he’s happy and healthy and awesome. Family’s so fun. It’s awesome. They’re my best friends.”
