NASHVILLE, TN (February 15, 2022) – Multi-PLATINUM Country artist Brett Young today announces his sold-out four-night Hawaiian tour has raised several thousand dollars for HEARTS, a local organization that supports Hawai’i Education of the Arts. Moved by the discovery that local Hawaiian artists were covering his songs, Young embarked on his first tour across the Aloha State, visiting several islands, performing in Kahului, Lihue and twice in Honolulu—giving back to the local arts community that supported him along the way.
The “You Didn’t” singer donated a dollar for every ticket sold to HEARTS which provides an affordable, high-quality, year-round music, hula and theatre arts program that enhances character in young people beginning at birth and continuing past the high school level. In addition, HEARTS conducts professional-level productions to be performed in elderly care facilities, hospitals, and churches. While in Hawaii, Young also participated in the ACE Shootout benefitting Children’s Miracle Network, / the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
“My wife and I have always been in love with the islands so when we heard that local artists have been covering my songs and that we had a fan base over here, we thought it sounded like the perfect excuse to come spend time and give back to some of our favorite places,” said Brett Young. “I’m hoping to make this a regular thing. It was very special—for me, and my family.”
With seven No. 1 singles and six studio albums since signing to Big Machine Label Group in Young’s current single, the vulnerable and heartfelt “You Didn’t” is quickly climbing through the Top 15 on Country radio with more than 108 Million global streams.
