Maddie & Tae will release their debut album, Start Here, featuring their latest single, “Fly,” on June 2nd, and Maddie Marlow says, “We poured our whole hearts into ‘Start Here’, and I cannot wait to just show our fans the whole Maddie & Tae spiel. There’s songs that cover all different topics, I mean; high school bully, fishin’, The Downside of Growin’ Up … that’s one of my favorite songs on the record.”

Tae Dye says she and Maddie have been writing for the album for the past five years, so there has definitely been some evolution in their music and its direction since they’ve grown up so much during those five years, but, she says, “It’s been fun for us, ‘cause we’ve gotten to write about it and kind of get our different emotions out and we’re just excited for our fans to kinda get to know more about us.”

Maddie & Tae have been heating up Instagram with photos of them in Hawaii where they played a show this weekend. The duo plays a show this Friday (3/27) at Xfinity Live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
