NASHVILLE, TN (August 29, 2022) – Rising singer/songwriter Conner Smith has had a whirlwind year making his Grand Ole Opry debut, touring coast to coast with label mate Thomas Rhett and notching his first top 40 hit … but now he’s ready to “Take It Slow” (The Valory Music Co.) with his new single. A fan-favorite off his debut DIDN’T GO TOO FAR collection, “Take It Slow” has already amassed nearly 40 million global streams to date and is slated to impact Country radio on September 12. Smith captures the innocence of young love on the earnest track alongside co-writers Ryan Hurd and Mark Trussell with heartfelt lyrics over a moody melody – “we can sway back and forth to what’s on the radio, cause you said that you were all mine, innocent look in your eye. Nothing but time, kiss me all night and let’s just take it slow.” Watch the lyric visual for “Take It Slow” here.

Continuing to feed his growing fanbase with new music, the Tennessee native fittingly released new song “Orange And White” in time for football season. Considered the sequel to his viral hit “I Hate Alabama,” Smith lines up a tribute to college football rivalries and blind-side hits of romance. Like a modern day Romeo and Juliet, an unlikely couple with opposing allegiances fall head-over-cleats, tackled by a connection they never saw coming. But with muscular guitars and some tailgate tenderness, it’s a love story that could end up in the hall of fame. Watch the lyric video here.

Smith has been giving fans a behind the scenes look at his meteoric rise, while showcasing his “wide vocal range and contagious pipes” (CMT) on Thomas Rhett’s BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR, with a five part video series available now on YouTube + Instagram. Named one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2022 and Amazon Music’s 2022 Amazon Artist To Watch, Smith is the only Country act named to the Pandora’ prestigious all-genre accolade, Artists To Watch 2022: The Pandora Ten list. The rising artist returns home to Nashville on September 17 providing direct support for Parker McCollum at Ascend Amphitheater.
