(AUDIO) DRAKE WHITE ASKS QUESTIONS ABOUT HIS CAREER EVERY CHANCE HE GETS

Drake White spent a lot of his time on tour with Zac Brown Band asking questions and learning as much as he could.  Drake says, “It’d be ignorant if you went out there and didn’t take it as that opportunity. I mean, this is what I was born to do. This is what I want to do. So find somebody that’s already done it and ask them how they did it. That’s what I’ve done with Zac and Zac has been so gracious to open up his plethora of knowledge.”

Drake says it was so helpful to be able to get the answers to questions that only other artists can really understand and explain, like, how do you know how to transition from a van to a bus? And then into two buses? How do you know how to build a crew and who do you need first? Do you need a sound guy or do you need this guy? How do you know how much money you make after your first #1?

Those were the kinds of questions Drake was able to ask Zac, and he says, “It’s pretty cool because you can then go to your wife and be like this is what happened to Zac, or here’s what happened to Kip Moore, or here’s what happened to Kid Rock, or any of my other buddies that I’m able to go and talk in that depth to.”

Drake will soon have another great artist to learn from when he hits the road with Dierks Bentley beginning October 13th, giving him a chance to spread his music, including his current single, “Livin’ the Dream,” and make new fans.
