(AUDIO) ELI YOUNG BAND LOVES THE RUSH OF THE LIVE STAGE

Eli Young Band has been spending some time in the recording studio working on their next album, which will include their new single, “Saltwater Gospel,” but what they really can’t wait for is to get out and perform some of that new music and their hits live for their fans.  Jon Jones says, “Playing live is why we started this band.  That’s what we love.  That ability to get up on stage and entertain people and feel that rush of being up there and playing music together is what has kept us going all this time.  And so that seems like the most no-brainer part of what we do, and we would do anything to be able to get up and do it.”

Eli Young Band knows that playing live is something they have to do and would do, even if they weren’t at the level they are now.  Jon says, “I’m sure if we weren’t as successful as we have been, we’d still be in some dive bar doing it to this day.  And it’s great to have these wonderful, huge acts that want to bring us out and share their audiences with us.  And we’ve had so many great opportunities to learn how to become better musicians and better artists.”

This summer, Eli Young Band is spreading the “Saltwater Gospel” all over the country on the fair and festival circuit.
