When Florida Georgia Line released their latest single, “Dirt,” they also announced the kickoff of the Dirt Campaign, which is raising money for Habitat for Humanity in conjunction with Omaze, to help build homes for underprivileged families. Brian Kelley explains, “Tyler and I had this dream of building/buying somebody a house because we’ve been so blessed in the past year with each buying homes. We teamed up with Habitat and Omaze and we realized we could do WAY more to help WAY more families and build a ton more houses. It’s just something that’s very close to our heart.”
The guys say being able to give back is simply carrying on the values that were instilled in them when they were growing up. “Our fathers were great examples of how to work hard and give back,” says Brian, “So it is somethin’ that over the past couple of years success has given us a bigger voice, so we feel it’s our time to help out and do cool things. The ‘Dirt’ campaign is one of the first things we wanted to start, and the song ‘Dirt’, it just tied in perfectly and no better time than now.”

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard got engaged at the beginning of last week to his girlfriend Haley during a helicopter ride in Nashville. Yesterday (9/28) the guys signed autographs for fans at a Wal-Mart near Irvine, California. This week, the duo play two big shows on Jason Aldean’s “Burn In Down Tour” on Thursday (10/2) at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Canada and Friday (10/3) at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
