- Carly says her dream, ever since she was a little girl, was to step into the hallowed circle on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, which she has done over 30 times now. She says, “I keep waiting for them to adopt me.
- Carly says, “When you hear the record that I am making, you will hear that my identity is in country music. That’s what I want to make. I don’t care if it ever goes past that. That is where my heart lies.”
- Carly says when she plays the Opry, the thing that makes her the most nervous are her pre-performance jitters, as she waits on the side of the stage waiting to take the stage where so many of her idols have performed.
