- Delta Rae’s debut single on The Valory Music Co. is “A Long and Happy Life.”
- The members of Delta Rae are three siblings, Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).
- Delta Rae will play a homecoming show this Saturday in Carborro, NC, just outside of Durham, at the Cat’s Cradle.
- Ian says some of the best advice he ever got from author Reynolds Price was, “Some people are going to hate you for the exact same reasons other people love you.” He says, “To me, this advice is invaluable if you’re anyone attempting to break the mold.”
- Delta Rae says one thing that has gotten them through tough times is the realization that the best times in their lives can sometimes come on the heels of the darker times, and that hope is the light in that darkness.”
