- Delta Rae’s debut single on The Valory Music Co. is “A Long and Happy Life.”
- The members of Delta Rae are three siblings, Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).
- Both Ian and Eric are graduates of Duke University.
- One of Delta Rae’s earlier songs that they recorded independently, “Bottom of the River,” became the theme song for the season six trailer of the TV show True Blood.
- Before joining Delta Rae, Liz Hopkins lived in New York and worked at a coffee shop in the West Village, which is why the city holds a special place in her heart. Brittany jokes anytime Delta Rae plays a show in New York City, they have to make sure Liz gets back in the van.
