- Delta Rae’s debut single on The Valory Music Co. is “Long and Happy Life.”
- The members of Delta Rae are three siblings, Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).
- Liz, Brittany, Eric and Ian trade off singing lead vocals in the band.
- Until recently, the band all lived together in a fixer-upper house in Durham, NC.
- Eric says the band is a fan of epic melody and thoughtful lyricism. Some of their favorite artists include Billy Joel and Michael Jackson, partly because of the eclectic spectrum of music they created.
