- The members of Delta Rae are three siblings, Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).
- Delta Rae wrote over 70 songs when they were working on material for their four-song EP and forthcoming album.
- Delta Rae has a definite country sound, but when they’re writing music, they say they worry less about trying to fit into a definable box and more about telling a story.
- The three siblings in Delta Rae say the other three members in the band bring levity, perspective, and their own unique strengths to the group, which is extremely helpful in keeping us three Holljes kids from strangling each other.
