(AUDIO) JENNIFER NETTLES’ SUCCESS IS CONNECTING WITH OTHERS THROUGH HER OWN PERSONAL JOURNEY

Jennifer Nettles’ latest album, Playing with Fire, runs the gamut of emotions, from “Unlove You,” which exposes the raw heartache of unrequited love, to “Drunk In Heels,” which is all about a woman’s attempt to do it all from career to family, to her current single, “Hey Heartbreak,” which is all about kicking heartbreak, after a break up, to the curb.  When Jennifer thinks about what she wants people to get from her latest album, she says, “I am just a hungry, humble woman on a journey.  And I hope that if I share some of my journey, both the points of levity and fun where I can laugh at myself and laugh at the world and the situation and the points that celebrate what is the search and the struggle, or sometimes the loss and the heartache, if I can share some of that and someone can feel connected and validated by that and hear part of his or her story in it … success.”

Don’t forget, in addition to Playing with Fire, Jennifer’s Christmas album, To Celebrate Christmas, is also available now.
