NASHVILLE, TN (January 10, 2025) – Rising Country singer/songwriter Mackenzie Carpenter today announces her highly anticipated debut album, HEY COUNTRY QUEEN, out March 7 via The Valory Music Co. Co-penning all 13 tracks on the new project, Carpenter gives fans a deeper view of her multi-dimensional talents while paying homage to the beloved Country Queens that paved the way for her to speak her mind, write her truth and have some fun along the way.

“This album has been a long time coming, and I’m so excited to finally share these songs with you. I’ve lived with them for years, and now it’s time to set them free,” shares Carpenter. “Hey Country Queen captures the essence of girlhood, heartbreak and love, and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

The album news arrives on the heels of an incredibly exciting 2024 for Carpenter. The young star released the “cathartic and empowering” (All Country News) track “Sound Of A Heartbreak,” “Only Girl,” which “feels destined to be a wedding dance staple” (Billboard), and “irresistibly catchy” (Holler) “Boots On,” all of which are featured on the forthcoming album. Most recently, she was recognized as one of MusicRow Magazine’s ‘Next Big Thing’ Artists for 2025.

With her brand-new song “Dozen Red Flags,” out today, Carpenter is finally confronting the true colors of a former love. He’s secretive; he’s entitled; he has a relentless wandering eye, and the list goes on. However, armed with a lethal dose of charm and dangerous good looks, he was able to schmooze his way back into her good graces every time – until now. Written by Carpenter alongside award-winning singer/songwriter Nicolle Galyon and frequent collaborator Brandon Hood, “Dozen Red Flags” is an anthem for the Country queens who realize that they deserve to be knee-deep in red roses – not red flags – and have the courage to step away in search of something better.

“This one’s for the girls who’ve ever fallen for the guy with more red flags than green,” says Carpenter. “‘Dozen Red Flags’ is flirty, fun and all about knowing he’s trouble but diving in anyway—because let’s face it, he’s cute.
