Reba Talks About The Impact Of Her Favorite Movie

Reba grew up in Chockie, Oklahoma, a community of only 18 people, but that didn’t keep her from finding a movie theatre. She’s a huge movie fan and says, “I’ll never forget the first time I saw The Sound of Music. To see the Alps…to this day that’s still a place I wanna go see. I traveled in movies. And little did we know how much we were learning.”

A movie star herself, she’s currently featured in a clip on the Fandango website talking about her all-time-favorite flick. It reveals rarely seen childhood photos of Reba and she talks about the impact The Sound of Music had on her. That included singing one of the songs from the soundtrack in a grade school talent show. She said, “I learned so much about history and how people were treated. It was set during the war, an eye opener for me.”

The country queen was only 10 years old when the movie came out.
