While waiting for his new album to come out, Ronnie Dunn is spending some time on one of his other creative passions…photography. Earlier this year he made a trip to Cuba with some photography friends and his photos have been all over the internet. And just last week he shot a Pro-Hockey game in Nashville.
And if you’re wondering how a country superstar ended up on the sidelines of a professional ice rink with a camera…Well, Ronnie posted that to friends on Facebook and said: “Went to a Predators-Colorado Avalanche game tonight with my buddy Ron Modra from Sports Illustrated. He let me shoot the game with him….like getting to paint with Picasso.”
One of the photos revealed more than a sports event. Ronnie pointed out how his buddy Vince Gill was sitting in the audience and ended up in some of his shots. No doubt some hockey fans are looking at their photos too and saying, “Hey, isn’t that Ronnie Dunn?”
Look for Ronnie’s album to be out later this year.
