(AUDIO) TRENT HARMON LOVED GETTING TO COVER CHRIS STAPLETON

Trent Harmon performed a lot of songs on American Idol, but he says one of his favorites was the week he got to choose the song he performed.  He says, “One of my favorite songs to sing on American Idol was ‘What Are You Listening To” by Mr. Chris Stapleton.  And I really enjoyed getting to sing that song because I got to pick that song for that week and it was the first week that I actually got to sing a country song, and so it really meant a lot to me to get to do that one.”

Trent has been visiting radio stations all over the country, introducing them to his new single, “There’s a Girl,” and during his acoustic performances he also frequently sings “Tennessee Whiskey,” a song made famous by George Jones, that Chris Stapleton also recorded for his album, Traveller.
